Our wedding was FABULOUS thanks to A Bride's DJ...They really made our day perfect! The song selection was great from the time the first guest arrived until the very end. We only gave a few must plays and the rest we left up to them and it was perfect. The crowd was dancing until the hall turned the lights on and the selection played during cocktails and dinner was great! Overall, I would highly recommend this company for any event! When we needed to rearrange and change the order, Rob was on the ball and willing and able to help us out! He helped with the timing and getting things right that night when things changed. My husband and I were determined to save money on a DJ for a wedding and thought we could go the DIY iPod route. Our DJ was very professional and easy to talk to. Before the wedding we went over music choices and the order for the reception events. He was very organized and sent me a finalized list of the order of the reception, including a written version of introductions and other announcements he was going to make during the evening. I felt comfortable calling him and making any changes. He was very responsive and calm during the entire event. During the reception, he was punctual and set up according to plan. He contacted the wedding coordinator at the hall and made all his necessary arrangements. I felt very comfortable with his music selection and organization. He adhered to our guidelines on music choices and played a great variety of music from the genres that we selected. The guests had a great time and danced the night away. He was very calm, cool and professional during the entire reception. He was not overly talkative during the night. I hired him because of his motto "No cheesy DJ's". He was our DJ and did a wonderful job. Everyone had a great time and he kept the dance floor full. Our age bracket was 20's to 80's and I'd say most people danced at least once. Many comments at the end of the night were made to us the bride and groom "what a party" and he was a big part of that. He wasn't the main focus (which was what we wanted). He kept the music going and honored requests well. He also was very accomodating prior to the wedding with an organized layout that helped us understand and plan how the night would go. We thought he did an excellent job. We asked him to make sure everything would stay running but that he not interfere or talk too much. He did exactly what we asked. He also did a great job of figuring out what genre of music kept everyone on the dance floor - the floor was packed all night! And, he was very professional as far as before the wedding and being sure to check in periodically leading up to the wedding. I found with most of my other vendors that I had to do all of the checking in. It was a great help having him contact me instead of me having to do it. I hope this is helpful. He was the DJ at our Wedding on October 17th in North Olmsted, OH. He came to us recommended from a colleague who used him at their wedding. He really helped us plan the pace of the reception and made good recommendations for songs, when we didn't have ideas.
